Open Call for Belgian Beauties 12th edition of dancefilmfestival brussels

For twelve years now, dancefilmfestival brussels has been focusing on the specific relationship between dance and film. The festival is an international platform for choreographers, filmmakers and programmers and works for the promotion of a selection of dancefilms in Belgium and abroad. This year the festival will focus on recent Belgian films, «Belgian Beauties». This means we are looking for Belgian productions or co-productions made during the last two years (2021 – 2023).

DEADLINE for submission is June 3rd, 2023 The festival will take place between October 4th and October 8th, 2023 with an Opening night in BOZAR, the screening of Belgian Beauties in CINEMATEK, workshops, meetings and a final dinner. The artistic director of the dancefilmfestival brussels is Wolfgang Kolb. The producer is Redorangeproductions in partnership with Danscentrumjette, Contredanse, Cinematek and Bozar. The festival is supported by Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (VAF) and the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
