Two highly skilled, male contemporary dancers of South Asian origin required.
AKCT seeks two highly skilled, male contemporary dancers of South Asian origin. Candidates must also have confident vocal skills and a good command of the English language.
The new production entitled Chotto Desh (small homeland) is an adaptation of Akram Khan’s award-winning solo DESH, and will be created for young audiences aged 7 years plus and their families. Dancers must be available for the creation and touring from August 2015 to February 2016.
Audition is by invitation only and will take place in London across 3 days on
11, 12 and 13 February 2015.

Chotto Desh is co-commissioned by MOKO Dance, DanceEast, Sadler’s Wells and Akram Khan Company, and produced by AKCT. AKCT is a charity established in March 2005 by choreographer Akram Khan and producer Farooq Chaudhry to initiate projects and support activities that contribute to the advancement of the art of dance amongst students, professionals and the public within the UK and overseas.
